Today in SSinglish, Thursday, April 18, 2013

1. In the morning session, Mrs. Traynor gave some additional notes on MLA Format and reminded us about bookmarking the Purdue OWL: MLA Formatting and Style Guide. Make sure you have a completed Works Cited page when you hand in your project on Friday.

2. Compare your notes to the copy here; remember, your notes should include more than what you find here.

3. In the PM rotation, we wrapped things up by taking the test on A Doll House.

4. The memory test on all of Africa takes place on Tuesday, April 29.

5. Again, use the resources on my blog to help you prepare for the test.

6. Also on April 29, you may take a retest on the West Africa Memory and/or Map Reading tests that were given on April 10.

7. Don’t forget to keep up with your daily reading during vacation.

8. Finally, there are students who did not take the West Africa Tests the first time around on April 10; you must take the tests ASAP.

You will find a copy of the plan for retest here that is needed for the retest.
Here’s hoping you all have a restful and relaxing spring break.
