Here’s what we did in SSEnglish today:

1. We began class with Mrs. Peterson giving notes about tips for writing based on some of the problem areas we have seen on the thank you letters and the journal responses; notes were taken on white-lined paper. Don’t forget to update your SSEnglish Table of Contents.

2. Today’s poem shared in classed was an untitled poem written by Harold V. Melchert. Thank you to Patrick D. for sharing the poem with Mrs. Peterson. Update your Poetry Table of Contents.

Possible adults to thank include:

Make sure you follow the format for a thank you letter.

First, bullet list what you are going to write about (prewrite).

Use cursive handwriting.

Write on white-lined notebook paper. Don’t forget your 4-line heading.

Final drafts are due on Friday, September 27.
