Here’s what we are doing,

1. We visited the Wolfeboro Public Library today to return books and browse for new ones; our next trip will be some time around April 14.

2. The retest for the Europe Map will be given on Monday, March 31.

•Take at least 1 of the 2 practice tests before Thursday. Record the scores in your agenda book on the day that you take them. Record the number correct out of the total and the percentage grade. That information will be asked for when you take the retest on Thursday.

•Resubmit a new direction sheet with all of the places checked off to verify that you checked your map to make sure everything was labeled on the map.

•Come to class on Wednesday with any questions you might have for a whole group debriefing of trouble spots.

 

2. During the next two weeks, we will be following what is happening in Ukraine in relation to the international community, Russia, and the Untied States.

Here are two big questions that will frame our study:

1. Should the international community become involved in a country’s conflict?

2. Is it every citizen’s right to vote to secede if they think the country isn’t being well run?

3. On a clean, left-hand page in your SSEnglish journal, write a 5 to 7 sentence response using Q & A format for questions 1 and 2 above.

•Write question 1 on the left-hand page and question 2 on the right-hand page.

•First, do a quick pre-write bullet listing points you want to make.

•Proofead for GUMS and make sure you response  makes sense and uses no repetition.

4. Finally, ask someone at home the same two questions. Bullet list their responses to question 1 and question 2.
