1. Go to the SIRS link and then click on SIRS Issues Researcher.
2. Browse and look for 5 issues/topic that you want to debate. Write them down in your geography/history journal; number them 1 to 5.
3. Narrow the list of five down to three issues/topics.
4. Read three articles, one for each issue to become informed about the topic.
5. Cite the articles you read.
6. Generate a list of questions you have as you read each article.
Remember to dig deeply. What do you wonder; what sparks your curiosity; what questions do you have?
