Here’s what we did today:

1. Time was given to work on the Asia Map Projects. All maps were due by the end of class.

2. The test on the Asia maps is on Monday, June 2. 8th grade band and chorus students should take the test at home on either Monday night or Tuesday night using only their Asia map.

3. On Tuesday, June 3, we will make our last trip to the Wolfeboro Public Library for the year. Bring in any books that you need to return.

Here’s what’s going on this week:

1. Time was given in class today to work on the Pilot Writing Prompt for Grades 6-8. This also continues on Tuesday.

2. The complete Asia Map Projects are due at the end of class on Thursday, May 29.

3. The 8th Grade trip to Canobie Lake takes place on Wednesday, June 11 with the rain date on Tuesday, June 10.

The cost of the trip is $20 and a signed permission and payment is due on or before, Friday, June 6.

Finally, in anticipation of 8th grade promotion on Friday, June 21, anyone interested in designing the promotion cover should turn in their design to Mrs. Damberg no late than Friday, June 6.

1. Advisory begins at 10:00 am.

2. At 10:05, report to your work room that you were assigned to on Tuesday.

3. Here are the things that you are expected to work on:

—Landing On the Moon blog post

—Infographic on a scientist from history

—Mike Anderson essay

—Adult age essay, 5 paragraph

—Opinion piece with citation page

—thank you letter

—nature journal if your are in Denali, Everest, or Matterhorn

—reading your book

4. Lunch will be at 11:25.

5. UA classes begin at 12:05.

Finally, we end the day with the Rock Concert performed by our chorus and band.
