Today in SSEnglish, Monday, October 21 and Tuesday, October 22, 2013

Here’s what we did on Monday, October 21:

We all walked down to the Wolfeboro Public Library and had a tour and chance to browse for books. Many students returned with new library cards. This opportunity gave Vista students another place to find books to add to their Someday List. We will be taking another trip to the library in two to three weeks.

Here’s what we did today, Tuesday, October 22:

1. Groups were given about 30 minutes to put the finishing touches on their posters and prepare for the presentation. We passed out the Fracturing Presentation Checklist (tape/paste it into your SSEnglish Journal) highlighting what to present and reminders for producing a quality presentation.

2. Everyone was asked to complete the Fracturing Project Rubric Research and Collaboration Skills handout.

3. We ended class with several groups presenting. We’ll finish up with presentations on Thursday.

Don’t forget that tomorrow is a delayed opening—2 1/2 hours.
